For most brides, the item they’ve been dreaming of since they were little is their wedding gown. Amy’s Bridal Boutique opened in March 2015 and boasts over seven years of service. They thrive on community and love to promote other local wedding businesses (which we love!). We have had a really great experience working with them and adore their gorgeous selection of gowns. They carry a lot of stunning designers, such as Stella York and Justin Alexander. And, for the men, they offer Sarno & Son’s suits and tuxedos. You can even order your bridesmaids’ gowns at Amy’s, which makes it really easy to hold everything up together, to ensure a great cohesive look day of. The cherry on top is their wedding day service, where they will come to you to assist with your gown day of. This service starts at $125 and can include everything from positioning your veil to lacing your corset. We adore this salon and the ladies who make it such a great experience!

Hannelore’s Bridal Boutique | Alexandria, Virginia
Hannelore’s Bridal Boutique has been open since 1983 and we love the experience in gowns that they bring to the wedding gown shopping experience for the newly engaged bride. Their selection of gowns is breath-taking, with over 20 collections of designer wedding dresses, including designers like Claire Pettibone (a Chancey Charm favorite!), Romona Keveza, Ines Di Santo and Martina Liana. In fact, some of their wedding gowns are exclusively found at Hannelore’s. They also have a fabulous in-house alteration department, which we love!
To wrap it up, they also carry bridesmaid dresses, making it a great one-stop-shop for brides short on time. And their staff is on top of pairing gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses with your feel and color palette. They have a great space, including dressing rooms for your entire bridal party to shop at the same time, a huge plus in terms of planning time to gather everyone together.

Known for their exceptional customer service with brides in the DMV area, we love that most of Ellie’s brides are referrals from other happy customers! When you arrive for your appointment, you’re free to touch and browse the inventory of stunning wedding dresses – which truly makes for the optimum bridal shopping experience. The staff at Ellie’s Bridal Boutique is super friendly and prides themselves on a comfortable atmosphere that is warm and welcoming for Virginia, Maryland, and DC area brides. And like the other top bridal boutiques on our list, you can also find your bridesmaids’ dresses at Ellie’s, as well as flower girl and mother of the bride/groom attire!
