Why did you decide to open your venue?
As a team, we love to be a part of events and special occasions – it is a rare and beautiful blessing to be able to be a part of so many memories. So we decided to plan and open a venue that can accommodate these spectacular events. We created the decor to appeal to today’s bride. Our venue is not too much of one thing, but classic in and of itself.
How many people does your venue hold for an event?
We can host a variety of events and accommodate different capacities. For a cocktail, we can accommodate 300 plus, seated dinner is about 230 and buffet is 220.
What makes your venue unique?
The moment you step into the space, you’ll be amazed. Our spectacular staff is tailored to assist you in all your needs for your wedding day. Textured brick walls, large glistening chandeliers, an inviting lawn, and rich history await you. It’s unlike anything else in the city of Houston.

Best piece of planning advice to a new bride
Breathe and stop to enjoy the moments along the way to the big day! It may sound cliché, but it’s so important to take it all in. Every bride is different and has her own unique wishes and desires for her wedding day. Allow yourself to make yours unique and special to you.
What’s your ideal couple like?
Our ideal couple is not your everyday couple. They want something new and different and a venue that won’t clash with whatever their style is, but at the same time, beautiful decor and classic elements are not sacrificed.

One of my all-time favorite Houston venues! The team at Hughes Manor are a dream to work with and the space is just incredible – really you have to see it in person to understand. I can’t wait for our spring weddings together!

Those light fixtures in the reception hall are everything!!! I love all the personality this venue has. It keeps your eye looking around for what’s interesting and beautiful.
