One of my favorite places in Atlanta has to be the Atlanta Botanical Gardens! Below, we have several images of an event we did at this beautiful location, a favorite of the Chancey Charm teams! With it being located in the middle of midtown surrounded by nothing but gorgeous rich gardens, this is an ideal location for weddings. This gorgeous venue has fifteen different areas where you can do something as intimate as a ten person ceremony or as grand as having 300 of your closest friends and family sharing your special day with you.
What I love most about the Gardens is that you don’t need to add extra details since the natural gardens themselves leave you with a breathtaking view and back drop. It is hard to pick a favorite place for this venue but I do have a few!
Day Hall is their biggest event space at the gardens and it has recently gone an amazing transformation. This space features elegant soft blue walls, gorgeous flooring, contemporary organic lighting and floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views. This can accommodate 300 seated guests.
If you are looking for a perfect outdoor space for the ceremony, the Rose Garden has everything you need. The scenery of all the gorgeous roses itself would be enough, but then the aroma that surrounds you adds the perfect touch. The Rose Garden can accommodate 200 seated guests.
If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, Mershon Hall is the perfect choice. Mershon Hall is a breathtaking , classical building with elegant lighting, and modern interior design and gorgeous double doors that lead right outside. This place is one of my favorites during the evenings; it literally glows. This amazing gem can hold 70 seated guests.
There is a million more reasons why I think the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are a perfect venue for a wedding reception. It makes you feel like you are in a different world with all the greenery and amazing selection of flowers and plants surrounding you. You are surrounded by the most vibrant colors, and you really are in tune with nature stepping out into the gardens. My favorite part is that you really do feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of city life but if you step out you can still see the memorable Atlanta skyline in the background. The urban jungle at its finest.
Best,
Lidija
