Chancey Charm is excited to share with you another of our preferred partners, Clementine Hall. This renovated old church features great historical architectural features with modern flair creating a unique venue that creates a great backdrop. We love the way the high beam ceilings and brick walls complement the lovely organ, that would add a sense of grandeur to your wedding. There are so many little touches that we think you will love too, so add this to your venue tour list!

What is the history of your venue?
Clementine Hall’s original structure was built in 1889 and was formerly a church. With a love of architecture, design, engineering, construction and, of course, history we purchased the building and finished renovations in 2018. We found ways to maintain and highlight the beauty of this gem. The original brick walls and wood trusses are stunning and define the space.
What is the best feature of your venue for couples on the venue hunt?
The building has a distinct look and style with many great features. Couples love the beam ceilings, brick walls and wood flooring that add to the design elements of any event. A favorite feature is the gorgeous church organ that is a focal point of the main hall.
As a venue rental Clementine includes everything that is building related. This includes the all-important audio, video and lighting systems every wedding requires, as well as three beautifully appointed dressing rooms and even a large catering kitchen.
How many people does your venue hold for an event?
Maximum capacity is 450, maximum size for a wedding ceremony is 300 in Adelaide Hall and maximum dining capacity is 175 in Adelaide Hall.
What perks does your space come with? (tables, chairs, stunning views, etc.)
Guests enter the property through a secret garden courtyard that we designed after a courtyard in New Orleans. The landscaping, fountains, seating, lighting and music make this a popular spot.
Clementine has two large spaces, which make having a wedding ceremony and reception here practical. The indoor spaces and garden create nice flow for events.
A third dressing room enables a band to perform here without kicking the bride or groom out of their dressing room mid-event!
Oh, and we have 750 lbs of ice onsite, which means you don’t have to bring it in! We like to think that we’ve thought of everything related to the property.
Best piece of planning advice you have for a couple who just got engaged?
We know most couples are inexperienced when it comes to planning a wedding. But rather than visit 20 venues to learn what you like, do your preliminary research online and determine what type of venue appeals to you. It may be downtown hotels, farms well outside of the city or distinctive independent urban venues. Visit 3-5 venues in your category and then take all the decision makers with you on your initial visit (groom, parents, best friend, etc.).
Thank you for reading, we hope this blesses your wedding planning journey.
Cheers!
