Hi Friends!

I so hope you’re soaking in all of the last few summer vibes, skipping a few more hours on the laptop for a poolside drink and sunscreen. I usually dread this time of year, holding onto summer with all of my might. I’ve even gone to the pool in OCTOBER in an attempt to draw out the sweet summertime vibe. But this year, I’m ready. I’m ready for life to move on, for fall sweaters to reappear in my closet and apple cider on the stove. How about you? Are you holding on or ready to let go of summer this year?

It’s been a busy month over here, and I have a few fun things to share, so please be sure to check them out below…

I’m not sure if anyone is a smart phone addict like me (no, not you too?!), but I’ve found a great answer to my addiction that I thought I’d share.  Enter, The Light Phone.  All calls from my normal phone simply forward to this “dumb phone”, which means my family can still reach me in an emergency, but the temptation to email is gone!  Praises!  I’m using this after business hours when I’m with my family for emergency calls only.  I feel kind of silly needing something like this, but the hubs and I are committing to use it, and I know it’s going to give us both the boundaries we can’t seem to give ourselves (face palm) but need to connect with each other and our loved ones.  I need to slow my scroll on Insta + email – can you relate?

Kristen Green of Something New for I Do and I just celebrated our two-year work-aversary, and I couldn’t let it pass without mentioning her here!  Kristen is the genius behind our blog, social media and PR efforts.  She not only keeps this ship moving, but provides my sanity.  PR cannot be ignored in today’s internet crazed, social media driven economy.  But let’s be honest, juggling ALL THE THINGS solo is hard.  Kristen’s helped take Chancey Charm to the next level, and I couldn’t operate on a weekly basis without her.  So, what about you? Who’s making your PR a focus? Who’s getting the word out about your services and gorgeous work?  I encourage you to let go and allow someone to make this their focus for your business.  It’s been so key for our growth and one of the “secrets” to our success! (ps: Kristen has some pretty solid freebies out via her site right now – check them out NOW!)

If you’re in the Atlanta area and looking for a chill new date spot, Yebo is your place!  It has a wonderful relaxed vibe, while also dishing up some fabulously tasty treats.  From start to finish, our dinner was delicious.  And, I can promise we’ll be back soon.  The decor is absolutely spot on to boot and during the winter, Yebo changes to Yebo – Ski Haus. Guysssss…. How much fun is that?  What a gem!  Within walking distance of the St. Regis, you could even make this a part of a romantic night away.

I hope these tidbits have inspired and encouraged you!
